One of my former students still runs an acoustic open mic night at the Stourport Boat Club. I can't remember what night it it though.

Yes but I haven't been there for a long time. In my day our folk club was in Stourport, at the boat club on the Severn. And a damn fine club it was. I know things have been going on in Wolverley but I've been too far away.

Go to the "Lock" in Wolverley - there's a folk club there. It was certainly running last summer - when I lived there, it was a Friday night. North of Kiddie.

There are a lot of folkies including ex-shellbacks down that area so chances are there will be something.
