Sorry to use you two as an example.

Those of you that share a computer have this problem and those of us that use different computers may also have the problem of easily knowing who were are signed on as (if anyone).

Max: Could you please put an indication on the main forum page that shows who we are signed on as? It looks like you are already doing some processing (for example to let us know if there are private messages waiting) so a line indicating the signon name wouldn't seem like a big deal.

Tony, it might seem a bit of a pain, but anytime you come here you can go to the Quick Links, choose Reset Cookie, and see who you are logging in as. As it says there, if you share a computer with soemone else and the codename shown is not you, all you have to do is enter your codename and password and voila! Yer in like Flynn!

Of course this doesn't clear up any mysteries re' which one, Rick or Bootsie, is on, unless THEY do the cookies restting or sign their postings.*g*

Get the new unit from Latex Computers with the Identisex function, joystick, hard drive, big ram......It may not help the problem with who's who, but Boots will love it. And Rick....Don't turn your back on the thing bro.

Or, of course, you could look in the "from" box of the first message you post, and it may give a clue as to your gender.... Female Tonys are usually spelled Toni, and there are other telltale signs.

Thanks for the suggestions. I know how to find out who The Mudcat thinks I am during any session (personal page, reply From name, if no cookie is set the pull down choices are not the same, ...). I was hoping that Max would make it more obvious.
