Yes, when are you coming to Oz? I saw you at Sidmouth, and look forward to seeing the new quartet!

I thought the Mudcat community might like to hear about a new project that we're quite excited about...

The Melrose Quartet is a new band comprising Nancy Kerr, James Fagan, and Richard & Jess Arrowsmith. It features four voices plus twin fiddles, melodeon and guitar/bouzouki. We've done one gig so far (Topsham Folk Club in October 2010) which was brilliant fun, and we've got some more gigs lined up in the next month or so:

20th January http://livebrum.co.uk/2011/01/20/melrose-quartet
21st January Bath
4th Feb Sheffield (Walkley Community Centre, Fir St, £7/£5, email melrose@arrowsmithmusic.co.uk to book or for more details)
13th Feb Cheltenham Folk Festival

Hope to see some of you at some of these gigs!
