Looking at trying to get ALL media players to read TOC from newly created(mastered) CDs. I used CD Architect to do a dummy run on mastering the first BLUE PLATE SPECIAL series 2 CD.
VLC & Real player listed the titles but WMP & iTunes did not!
I noticed that on other CDs produced by some of the smaller producers that reading the TOC worked on VLC but not on WMP.
Is there an issue of compliance here?
I thought that programs such as CD Architect followed the "Red Book" standard.
Roxio Toast was used on the Blue Plate Specials and that worked. I shall trial it in the next few days, but if anyone can throw any light on why some do and some don't, I'm willing to be enlightened.
