Subject: Lyr Req: Bread and Margarine, M.McGinn /Paddie B. From: GUEST,Philip Date: 23 Jan 11 - 06:56 AM I am looking for the lyrics of a 1960's folk song written by Matt McGinn and sung by him and Paddie Bell/ the Corries Folk Trio between 1964 and 1969. It was possibly recorded by Paddie Bell. It was called Bread and Margarine. It went something like: We all live on bread and margarine.... I think it was maybe to the tune of Yellow Submarine. Any help would be much appreciated! |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Bread and Margarine (Matt McGinn) From: GUEST,# Date: 07 Aug 21 - 01:40 PM I finally got back to it, and all it helps with is finding other sites that say the same thing. All other roads lead to Jim Dixon's post and the link therein. Better luck to anyone else looking for it. |
