She has looked everywhere and I am close to giving up. HELP??

is it not possible to download at home onto a USB stick and then play it on the school computer? That way you're not accessing YouTube from the school's internet...that's how we do our presentations... not sure if there's copyright issues or whatnot.
Good luck

Thanks for the quick response Quokka, it amazed my friend who had never seen Mudcat!
I changed tack and looked for a programme.
Found what looks like a superb FREE prog that does the job and more.

I wont make a blickie in case it is not a safe site after all.

http://www.savetubevideo.com/

It adds a google menu bar and pop up blockers so I may learn to dislike it. At the moment it works simply and efficiently.

Cheers

There must be a million plugins for Firefox to allow download of Youtube videos and from some other sites - they don't always work on any other site though... I use DownloadHelper ...

Thanks for the input. I was put on the spot for a minute there. I have never needed to download videos before so had no software loaded. Now I can get as many Morris dances as I need.
I hope the programme I mentioned above proves to be safe and as good as it first looks. I'll report back if it has gremlons.
Cheers
