I Had a great time at the open mic there last month. Barring any unforseen circumstance, I plan on being there again on Feb 1 - starts at 9 PM. Lex Romaine is the host. Would love to meet up with some Catters there.

How does this Tuesday open mic function? Is there a sign up sheet? How many songs or how long can one sing? How many mics or channels for instruments are available? Is it downstairs or upstairs (I'm trying to envision the space)?

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

I have only been once - did not notice an upstairs. Yes there is a sign up sheet - the night I went I arrived about 9:30 and played at about 11. Seemed pretty free form - 3 or 4 songs (I did 5, but a couple were short). They had a couple of mics and were able to plug in my guitar. Wish I could be more help. Perhaps some other Catter knows more. Also, when I went, it was a different host, so who knows.

My advice? Come on by and see what happens.

Thanks for the info. It's definitely something I would consider. I expect I'd have to stay over since it runs late and I live about 90 miles to the North. But I just might try it.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble
