It was a great concert - about 45 people in attendance, which is a record for West Chester Folk in the current era. We think we'll keep having our concerts at the Downingtown Friends Meeting - it's a great site, and the acoustics are so good you don't need a sound system.

Cindy and Grey were in fine form, with fiddle duets, amazing instrumentals and songs that were poignant and sometimes silly. Grey is the only musician I have ever seen play two squeezeboxes at the same time. Good music, good company, all in all a fine evening.

Dan's correct. This is a wonderful pairing of musicianship of the highest order, seasoned by experience, delight, and humor. Their performances and workshops are always enriching and delightful.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but - Cindy Kallet and Grey Larsen will be doing a concert for West Chester Folk, in the western suburbs of Philadelphia on Friday, January 28 2011. If you haven't heard either of them, you should. If you've heard them together, you know how good life can be.

The concert starts at 8pm and will be held at the Downingtown Friends Meeting -
800 Lancaster Ave.
Downingtown, PA

Admission is $15.00 at the door, with discounts for children and seniors.

Cindy and Grey will also present a workshop from 10am to noon on Saturday, January 29 on Arrangement and Accompaniment. The cost of the workshop is $25, to RSVP please PM me ASAP.
