Might it be from Adam McNaughtan's song "Where is the Glasgow that I Used to Know?"

Oh, where is the wean that once played in the street
Wi' a jorrie, a peerie, a gird wi' a cleek?
Can he still cadge a hudgie or dreep aff a dyke
Or is writing on walls noo the wan thing he likes?
Can he tell Chickie Mellie frae Hunch, Cuddy, Hunch?

Can anybody help me finding the words to this song?

The one and only time I`ve heard it was a couple of years ago on Folkwaves.

The singer was male and a Scot but I cannot remember his name or any of the words, but the song recounted the games we used to play as kids and whatever became of them.

Thankyou
malc
