I heard a Railroad song somewhere that was one verse long and ended with something like,"and he did not crash and he did not die."

I think it is on a record from 1963 called "Inside Folk Songs".

The Smothers Brothers did it in the 60's. I believe it is on their "Live from the Purple Onion" album.
