Thanks Becky. The nominees as well as the winners are all well worth a listen!

Was pleased that Carolina Chocolate Drops and Mavis Staples won Grammy's - the only two that I am real familiar with among the categories mentioned. Especially pleased by the well-deserved recognition afforded Mavis Staples, whose voice, music and passion I admire tremendously.

Well, nothing could compare to that, at least in category of hoo-ha. The rest can only ever aspire to it.

Not folk, but worthy was the winner for Best New Artist: Esperanza Spalding.
