I got Cåpèrçaillie album, and love Tobar Mhoire or Tobermory as it's named on CD. This album has reworking from tracks from Secret People. What does the girl say at the beginning of the song? It's the Cåpèrçaillie version of Tobar Mhoire that has this being said; it sounds like hebet; but if anyone knows, let me know ;)

Then on Take The Floor, Karen says something in Gaelic which I cant understand; this is an instrumental track ;)

Can we get translations for all the tracks

Yes, I checked; when I looked at Tobar Mhoire it points to Secret People; that version is different. The version Im on about is on Cåpèrçaillie album from 1994 which has reworkings of songs from Secret People. Take The Floor is an instrumental and theres no lyrics for that

RunrigFan: I wonder where the strange diacritical marks came from in your spelling of Capercaillie? There are no such marks at the band Capercaillie's web site, nor in the Wikipedia article about the bird called the Capercaillie.

Thats the cover of the album ;)

I got the marks from http://www.celticlyricscorner.net/capercaillie/capercaillie.htm

But the album has those marks, tho the c looks weird, not sure if the c is a actual symbol

I conclude that whoever designed that album cover was just having fun with the typography, putting marks where there was no logical reason for having them. None of their other album covers have those marks.

Maybe that album had a eastern flacvour; its different in sounds, most influenced from the world genre
