Thank you bradfordian for the nice comments on my pub (The Three Horseshoes) the black mild (Nutty Black) is a particular favorite in these parts. I had a lot of fun at the Funraiser weekend, we all made quite a large contribution to the fundraiser.
Hope to see you all again, gutairs at the ready, in October for the Folk Festival. Looks to be a bigger one this year

A good night (Fri 4th March) at the 3 Horseshoes, Ingleton. A Thwaites (brewery) pub, their black mild is moorish.
About 30 excellent musicians and singers present. Then there was me, I just could not get the high notes out, my throat was constricting, something to do with performing in public I felt, not being relaxed, not being prepared.
Two good sessions to come on Saturday, with THE DOCTOR featuring on Sat afternoon at the Wheatsheaf

I shall be there from 12:00 and if I get the opportunity to sing one then I will. Otherwise I'm on officially at 15:35, when I should get to sing half a dozen.

Hey Doc, will you be at the at Wheatsheaf Sat lunchtime?
If you are, could you preview your MUDCAT CD number? I'm hoping to be there and I'll also do my MUDCAT CD offering!

I hope to be at the 3 Horseshoes Friday, but I'm otherwise occupied Sat. evening as I'll be celebrating getting my old age pension (1 week premature!) with my bro & sis.

Yay, us Troubadors are really looking forward to it. Anyone who was at the Station Inn on the last festival Sunday night - it'd be great to see you again, we had a stonking good night with you!
Think we're first up after the singaround at the Wheatsheaf.

Saturday 5th March is the date for the Ingleton Festival Fund-raiser.
http://www.ingletonfolk.co.uk/fundraiser.htm
preceded by an open session Friday night from 8:00 in the Three Horseshoes.
Saturday starts at 12:00 in the Wheatsheaf and then from 7:00 in the Ex-Servicemen's Club. Large number of different artists performing, plenty for everyone to enjoy, even some Mudcatters there, and all in the good cause of raising money for one of the best little festivals around.
