I must say, that Batman's statement sounds like the recipe for a disastrous marriage (or friendship, or management postion, or any other long-term relationship.) Imagine spending time with someone who is out of sync with respect to humor, happiness, patience, music, religion, politics and all those other things that make people feel compatible.

It sounds like almost a paraphrase of what just happens the criteria by which I judge Politicians, "Take no motice of what they SAY look at what they DO". good (UK) examples would be Cameron and the ConLibs talking up the Big Society while they Make huge funding cuts to the very Voluntary sector they want to deliver it. or Talking about a "fairer society" while caving in to the "Bonus" culture of the City.
I would have reckoned Honest Abe too for the quote above
