Critical funding cuts are being discussed. Please stand up in support of PBS, NPR and other public broadcast programs. If you appreciate Morning Edition, Prairie Home Companion, Austin City Limits or any other programs, please go to http://170millionamericans.org/ for info
and call or write your representatives to express your opinion!!

do3es no one here care about NPR or PBS?
I am shocked that no one else has posted
to this thread...is there another thread
here with info on this important issue?

the future of non-commercial radio and t.v.
may be at stake here. the gov't is plannning
to slash funding...this could be the death
knell for many wonderful programs, news, and
shows.

It's not that I'm not interested.....just in another time zone and continent. However, your fight is also our fight.

Best wishes,

Peter

Done. I've signed petitions and contacted my Representative (Jim McDermott, Dem). He assures me that he's on board.
