The situation is dire, to the point that key donators of material are demanding and getting back what they gave. Not only staff turned off, but also expert volunteer workers. Appalling.

Certainly hope it is -- but I'm aware that key staff have gone. And in the current economic climate I seriously doubt the commitment of those in charge -- despite the obvious value/usefulness/INTEREST for those in the wider arena.

This is definitely a case for all those who expressed past interest to 'ping' those in charge, demanding ongoing support.

Is the Centre for Political Song at Glasgow Caledonian University still alive and working? Its website
is up but has not been updated since 20 July, 2007 although there was a Ewan MacColl memorial concert associated with the Centre in October 2009.
