The Welsh in Portland Oregon celebrate St. David's Day over two weekends with song - canu'r dydd a chanu'r nos. And remember too, St. Patrick was probably a Welshman - so the celebration can go on even longer!

My birthday was a few weeks ago but I was Christened on St Davids day in an Anglican church by a Russioan Orthodox priest (My Grandad!)

How's that for cosmopolitan :-)

Happy birthday to my brother called David and Dave Longden and David Oakley.
None of them come from Wales, but it is St David's day. :-)
