I'm trying to contact Dave Mitchell, who sang with Threadbare Consort, The Dead Sea Surfers and Spring Chickens.

Last I saw mention of Dave , he was doing a few Gigs with Anne Lennox-Martin ! But that WAS a while back -- One SCARY good guitarist !

Thanks - That was the last time I saw him nine or 10 years ago, with Anne, in that super club in Keighley - The Globe? The Half Moon? something astronomical.
And yes - he's also a very tidy jazz guitarist!

DAVE WAS DEVASTATED BY THE BREAKUP OF HIS MARRIAGE AND WAS PLANNING TO GO TO AMERICA TO LIVE WITH HIS UNCLE i ASSUME HE WENT AS i NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN WHICH IS VERY SAD. i HAVE NO IDEA WHICH PART OF AMERICA IT WAS.
iT WILL HAVE BEEN AROUND 15 YEARS AGO.

I found this website for a David Mitchell in the US (Ga) teaching guitar, but sadly not the Dave Mitchell you're looking for, Max.

You're not wrong, Kitty! - Although my estimate was only out by five or six years, which is pretty accurate for me.
Thanks to everyone who replied - I'll assume that he's still on the other side of the pond, and won't refresh this thread again.
