Just to let you know we'll be at The Cross Keys Folk Club in Barwell on 6th April.

Loxley are a harmonic, contemporary, progressive Folk Trio who have a collection of songs and music that will keep you listening and thinking all evening. Their material has harmonies that sway gently from traditional and contemporary folk, from the 16th century to 21st century.

Sally Stamford: (aka the Lemonade Lady). Sings the traditional folk songs and some blues, She's the finger in the ear element.

John Eyre: Not only writes some of the songs, he also arranges and writes the harmonies. Loxley couldn't work without him.

Arthur Hyde: Also writes some songs, and with John to keep him on the straight and narrow, (which isn't easy at times) is a strong influence on the harmonies.

Sally can be contacted here or on Facebook (sally stamford) or by email at sally.stamford@hotmail.co.uk

Loxley
"Type of act: Acappella and Accompanied. Sally Stamford is also known as The Lemonade Lady, a singer/songwriter and a great talent. Together with John Eyre and Arthur Hyde they make a good team. This is a innovative group, dispelling music and song which, when heard, you cannot put down because you will be fully focused on a great sound."
Mendip Autumn Folk Festival 2nd, 3rd and 4th September 2011
