Bonzo, As it's only the live lounge unfortunatley not. If it has been in the main stadium I would have heard it note perfect!

Kev, Thank you for your time and experience, it is appreciated.

Well, not long to go!! Really looking forward to this one.

We are off to Twickers on Friday just to check that everything is OK and supervise the building of the stage etc.

Saturday is obviously the last day of the Six Nations Cup - SOOOOO, we've managed to source a very large TV screen in the bar at Twickers - so here is the plan for Saturday: - Leave Sevenoaks about 1pm, get to Twickers about two and go and find Sainsbury's to buy the ryder for the band. Check the sound guys in, closely followed by the band. See that everyone is ok. Go and watch the England game in the bar. Open the doors at 7pm and sell/give out prepaid tickets. Band on at 8pm. Have a great evening. Clear up and check out. Back home to Sevenoaks about 1.30am.

Go on folks, give it a go - this one is going to be VERY SPECIAL indeed. The band have said that they are playing a specially selected set for us as this is the first event of it's kind at Twickers.

Roll on and hope to see some of you there.

Best wishes

Kev

Well, if you decided NOT to go on Saturday, then you missed A CRACKER!!!!

The venue was brilliant and Fairport were FANTASTIC as usual!!!!!

Only just got in, as the M25 was closed for maintenance!!!! 2.57, finish my beer and off to bed - we've had two very long and hectic days, but VERY MUCH worth it!!!

Cheers

Kev

A lovely night, well done the organisers!

It's a lovely venue (seating about 500 in mobile raked terracing). Bar prices comparable to a hotel though (not much change from a fiver for either a pint or glass of house red). I suppose they're normally dealing with corporate beanos who don't pay much attention to such details. Don't think it was lost on the Cropredy regulars in attendance of course

I haven't seen Fairport locally for about 15 years (last time was at greatly missed Brentford Watermans Theatre). They haven't changed much in the interim! Currently it's Simon Nicol, Ric Sanders, Dave Pegg, Chris Leslie and Gerry Conway. They did a lot of songs from their latest album including a couple of crackers by Ralph McTell and Chris While. There was still time for a few chestnuts though ('Who Knows Where The Time Goes', 'Crazy Man Michael', 'Matty Groves' and 'Meet On The Ledge')

Yep, it's Gerry.

We were there in force handing out our one off 'red nose' flyers (well, two of us anyhow)
