Subject: Folk Weekend: Oxford April 2011 From: GUEST,Jane Bird (without cookie) Date: 11 Mar 11 - 06:50 PM As part of a series of events over the weekend of 15th - 17th April (the weekend that Oxford Folk Festival was due to be held), Oxfolk is running a ceilidh with The Serendipity Band #2 at The Newman Room in central Oxford on the 16th April, 7.30pm. There's lots of other events happening, too, including Making Music's Find a Folk Band concert taking place at the same venue earlier in the day. Caller and full band line up isn't yet announced. I think that's susposed to be the nature of the The Serendipity Band format, or that's what I'm told :-) I will let you know when I know more.
