A new singaround is being held at Judsons in Pocklington, East Yorkshire.It is being held on the last Tuesday of the month at 8pm.All singers, musicians and audience are very welcome.

Which is the last Tuesday of the month this month? Makes it easier.

Was it the pub that used to be The Square?

I work close to Pocklington so will try to pop in.

What sort of thing is it likely to be? Singaround round the room; free for all; all join in together; bloke out the front; etc?

Thanks for your intrest Nick. Its going to be every month, and this month the last Tuesday is the 29th March.
You are correct that the building used to be known as the Square, but as you probably know, it has been refurbished totally recently.
The evening is to be known as 'the gatherin' and will be Singaround round the room,with joining in being welcome,provided you know the song/tune and are in tune!

Unfortunately I'm likely to be in Luton that day and will probably stay down there overnight (and go to the Globe at Dunsable :)! )- if I'm back I'll see if I can get there. Hope it goes well.

I'll mention it on Wednesday at our weekly music thing in Flaxton - only about 12 miles away so who knows. You might also get in touch with the people from Wetwang who might support. Also worth letting the Black Swan in York know if you haven't already their newsletter is well circulated

I am sure you have told all the lising sites in your area. If not there may be more than 4 useful ones on my RoW (rest of world) page. One webmeister was on this forum recently promoting his site for East Yorks
