My wife has posed a memory test for me. There was a hit song some time ago that was sung by a husky voiced woman. The refrain was something like -

"Too long a time, with no piece of mind, and I'm waiting for the times to get better"

Can anyone help out with the full lyrics, chord progression, etc. ?
