7 miles south of Leicester The Dogs a Traditional Village Pub
Beers good, Loos are clean, plenty of parking and there is a real fire and its in the Bar so no stairs Mainly Singing and Tunes, NO AMPS. Oh and the natives are friendly and it was the Landlady that asked us to do it.

It's a bit far down the county for us on a Sunday but hope it goes well.

Good luck with the new venture Nic. It's a bit far for us to travel these days but, if we ever get as far as Leicestershire again, we'll certainly drop in. Did the "Second Saturday" outgrow the kitchen?

Whatever the reason, I'm sure that this will be another (in addition to the Grand Union at Barrow) great singers' session in Leicestershire.

Many thanks for all the Good Wishes anad support
Old Nic

I'm in Evington so it's not far to Kilby.
What sort of session will this be? I'm a tune player on melodeon and concertina (and double bass when accompanying) but I have friends in Tilton who are singers/guitarist/banjo, more used to open mic rather than tune sessions.

Are all welcome?

Mitch

Just a reminder that this Sunday is "Third Sunday" so our session is running at The Dog and Gun Kilby Leicester LE18 3TD.8 p m start We have had a very good start to this little venture, the locals are very supportive , and some are even learning songs. The Landlady has even started putting some snacks on the Bar at Half Time as well as wanting to start singing herself ,we have even found her some suitable material. Now that is a success.
