Just thought some might like this, if they like their music....found it in my 'favourites' section, forgotten I had it there.

Interesting indeed. Thanks Lizzie.

But that uncontrollable and intrusive taxonomic bent of mine causes me some nigglement: in the list of distinguished members at the end, Trevor Foster is out of [what is otherwise carefully arranged] alphabetical order. Why should that be, I wonder?

Why does the sight of the Union Jack always make me throw up? Otherwise, I've always loved Battle of the Field.

"Why does the sight of the Union Jack always make me throw up?"

Is it because it makes you think of all the bad things about your country, rather than the Good?

Is it because you've given in and now see it as a flag which represents the BNP?

If so, you should be out there fighting to take BACK the Union Jack and make it stand for all those who've fought and died for this country, for all the good we've done throughout the world, for being one of the most empathetic and sympathetic countries on the planet, so often first there when needed...

Yeah, I know all the rotten stuff too, but you decide how you want to view things, I guess..

Maybe you're right but as with the swastika I think it's too long tainted (not just by the NF & BNP) and doesn't have much to do with the country I know and love, which doesn't really have a flag any more, although it is heavy with a myriad of diverse icons, historic & modern. I suppose Britishness endures in details & diversity - everything from Glastonbury Tor to Harry Cox to Hatfield and the North to Henry Purcell to Mark E. Smith to M R James to... hold on, we've had on this on the old Re-imagined Village Thread I'm sure, those precious icons of Albion's Fairest Isle which define us as individuals first and foremost.

Trevor Foster was a nice guy and great drummer in the Albion way of playing. I'll never forget Albion Day at the Cheltenham Town Hall when he, Michael Gregory and Dave Mattacks all played in the Albions at the same time!!!

Are you the Lizzie of sam-and-lizzie who run this awful Albion Chronicles websites that consists entirely of stuff haphazardly copied together from other sites like mine without any acknowledgement of their sources?

Come on Reinhard, don't be buried in a pile of polite understatement - say what you really think
