You can play or download this song at The Internet Archive. It's song #2 on that page. Here's my transcription. Note that there are a few gaps and uncertain phrases. If you can correct them, please do.

Words and music by Ernest Melvin, 1927
As sung by Gracie Fields

Me name it is Jenny, an' folks around 'ere calls me Jenny, 'cause that is me name.
I works on a farm ev'ry month of the year, an' each day of the week just the same.
Now I've fallen in love with a good 'un, you know, an' I think 'e's a fancy for me,
As only last night we sat on a bench underneath the old sycamore tree

An' we gowped at yun another an' never said nowt about owt.
He come out a-walkin' with me, you know,
Down by the field where the turnips grow.
We sat 'oldin' 'an's for an 'our or so
An' never said nowt about owt,
Not owt about owt.
We never said nowt about owt.

An' milkin' or churnin' or feedin' the chickens, I thinks of 'im all the day through.
I feel like ... I'm goin' quite loony. It perfects the riddle, 'e do.(?)
So that whether I'm plougin' or drivin' the cowen, I dreams 'ow I'll meet 'im again.
Last night I says, "Neddy, if mother'll let 'e, come out for a stroll in the lane."

An' we gowped at yun another an' never said nowt about owt.
He looked at me sloppy-like, full of love,
An' aksed me if I'd be 'is turtle-dove.
He looked like ... daft. I give 'im a shove
An' never said nowt about owt.

[The recording ends rather abruptly, making me suspect there might be more.]
