Subject: on line tuning? From: SPB-Cooperator Date: 01 Apr 11 - 05:52 PM Is there a web page that produces wav files which are just single continuous notes to tune to? If not, does anyone have the means and/or inclination to make one? |
Subject: RE: on line tuning From: Artful Codger Date: 01 Apr 11 - 06:17 PM There are web pages which have online tuner tools, that play continuous or repeated notes. For instance: http://www.get-tuned.com/online_guitar_tuner.php To produce an MP3 file with just a continuous note, you could write a simple ABC file with a single long note played at a lugubrious tempo, and use one of the online ABC converters. |

Subject: RE: on line tuning From: Tootler Date: 01 Apr 11 - 06:21 PM I produced a set of pitch tones for my Blackberry by recording a chromatic scale with my recorder using long notes then using Audacity to break it up into single notes exporting each as an mp3. I created an "album" of 12 mp3 tracks and transferred it to the Blackberry. Useful for giving myself a note at a singaround should I need it. (If I remember I've got them, that is - which I often don't) |

Subject: RE: on line tuning From: Crowhugger Date: 02 Apr 11 - 11:44 AM I found this general pitch pipe. And this one for guitars. There are others if you search on "online pitch pipe". |
