Subject: Lyr Req: Boston song in the 60's (1966-1968)

I am looking for a song that was sung by some of the Charles Street, Boston, folkies in the late 60's. One verse of which is:

Take the burden from my shoulders
Don't be needing me no more
I'm not trying to tell you
Never wanted you before
Only I can't help but thinking
Things aren't going like they should
To stay together longer
Wouldn't do us any good

Please respond if you know anything about this song, rest of the lyrics, who wrote it etc. It was not written by Madison, Staines, Simons or Orlen. Can anyone help ?

Thanks.
