Hi

Last night at the Black Diamond in Birmingham we had David AND Ian Cambell in the audience with Bill Caddick as guest. David sang a ballad which sounded like 'Young Anarchy', although I don't think it cam have been as I can't find any trace of it. It was about a girl by the name of Betsy who was forced into marriage with a rich man by her father and in the end died for the love of 'Young Anarchy' who came just to late to save her. I have only heard this song once before and it's a wonderful ballad, but does anyone one know what the proper title is?

Thanks

Pauline

Sounds like a version of Anachie Gordon.

Yes! Just googled it. Thank you so much. I see that there is quite a long and interesting thread about it too.
