Here he is! :0)

Stripey Howling Hancock

A former member of...The Chucklefoot Musical Medicine Show...who was today to be found sitting on the main street of Exeter in glorious sunshine, playing his guitar beautifully for all to hear..

I got talking to him, real name, Nigel..and he was telling me about his life...so I told him about Mudcat, said he might just find a few folks from way back in here, so watch out for him...

They kicked him out of Sidmouth by the way, the townspeople that is...Their loss, as he makes beautiful music...but he wrote a tune for them, which you'll find on his page..

Hope you enjoy him...and I might have a video of him coming up soon...

Oh yes I love the fellow. A great picker indeed. But what happened in Sidmouth? Why did the kick him out, or should I say under what grounds?

I know Nigel. He's probably one of the best ragtime players around. Yes, Sidmouth's booting him out is Sidmouth's loss. His fine music cerainly puts a bit of sparkle into the otherwise rather mundane streets of Exeter!!
