Haven't been able to access my "View Your Archive" or "View Your Sent Messages" archive in recent days. I get a time out message that it surpassed the 30 seconds and to notify the *authorities.*

Ran into the same thing. Instead of trying archived messages, go to members messages received from then click the name of whoever sent the message. It will list the messages from newest to oldest from top to bottom.

As to sent messages, beats me.

I saved these links to a folder on my computer, so I can access personal messages in a number of ways. I have 1699 personal messages in my "in" box right not, and I can't seem to get around to cleaning them out, so I sometimes get a timeout when checking personal messages.
I wish the PM listing, archive, and sent messages were broken into 50-message blocks for us reprobates who don't clean our mailboxes.

Anyhow, here's my list:

• http://www.mudcat.org/sentmessages.cfm - messages sent - I see this is in 100-message blocks. I wonder if Max just changed it.

As the timeout message says, add "?RequestTimeout=500" to the end of the URL.

But in the meantime, I think that Max changed the archive and "sent messages" so they display 100 messages at a time.

I have to say that lengthening the timeout request has never worked for me.

Jeo, it's worked for me the few times I've used it, but I rarely look at my archives. Also, if I get timed out, it's usually MSIE, not Firefox.

None of those links work for me. Is that because they are personalised? I still can't get the regular link to work and would like to PM the Mudcatter in question.
