- Not recording that wonderful performance certainly was one..........
I saw it performed twice; once at Bob (Rob) Shaws terrific club in Wentworth (with a keybord player you sent to the bar as you sang it, in the days of "Eagle over Blue Mountain" & before that I believe at Bentley in Doncaster. One of Lennies clubs.
it was all in the expressions.............
Keep safe; we all have the memories of those great evenings.........

Best wishes Rosie, I still have fond memories of you singing ' Queen Eleanors Confession ' I can't remember if it was Bradshaw Folk Club or The Grass Roots in Halifax, but absolutely wonderful.

I loved Lady for today... used to sing it in folk clubs in mansfield when we were residents at Horse and Groom and on our five minutes of fame recording as Focsle folk group when singing around the clubs. Thanks for your great music.

Congratulations and best wishes from me too - I've had the privilege over the last year of being accompanied by Bob Axford's guitar playing for a song I'm singing in Sophie Wright's show about the Tolpuddle Martyrs and their families, and it's reminded me of hearing Bob playing for Rosie when I first heard you both!

I too stayed at the same camp site that year ad where Rosie and I met.
She spent a night nude canvass and hated it.
Sadly Rosie is now totally housebound.
She loves emails from her fans/friends.

My husband to be and I were at Sidmouth 1970. Mis spent youth in a tent on the noisy campsite..Aged 19 and 17 respectively. We saw Rosie there. Not the first time as Rosie had visited Ludlow Folk Club before. Brilliant times to be young. Thanks Rosie for the good memories.

If I remember correctly, the ruby wedding anniversary was in April! I remember - I was there! Toni Arthur as bridesmaid, evening do at MSG, Manchester full of morris men for a Ring meeting!

I have wonderful memories of Rosie making everybody smile and performing and writing some of the best written songs I ever heard in an English folk club.

Congratulations Rosie, you were always one of our most popular guests at the Queen's folk club in Fleetwood. I recall that once you turned up with your leg in plaster & went upstairs step after step on your backside... ah! memories are made of this.

Hey folks - nice to see people have some nice memories here!

I have just celebrated my Ruby Wedding to Rob Ixer - still going strong after all these years!

I wrote Ontario Bound for a guy called Ray Sealey who was in a band called The Windy Sprinkle - who were visiting from Canada - years before I married!

She wrote that about Alex Campbell and sang it at Loughborough in 1972, when he was the MC of her concert.
He loved it!

Rosie Hardman married and Barbara Dickson sang two 40 min spots at the folk reception at the MSG.
Congratulations and some said it would not last.
