Its a great little festival with plenty going on. loads of morris dancing to watch. Concerts to go to and sing arounds and music sessions in most of the pubs so there is something there to suit most people. Enjoy

I know it only by reputation and the friendliness of the people I know attend regularly. Hissyfit are there for the first time too. Upton seems a very pleasant place by all accounts and we are really looking forward to it. Come and say hi if you catch our sets.

Linda

having been both as a punter and a steward, (stewarding again this year) have always found Upton to be a friendly relaxed festival and have always found the stewards well organised. Upton is small enough not to get lost in too so you can find all the venues easily.

Thanks for the WELLY warning!
We (Hissyfit) renamed Saddleworth 'Paddleworth' or even 'Puddleworth'
and Linda was once rescued from a squelchy campsite! Happy memories. Thankfully we have accommodation indoors this visit!

See you soon,
Hazel

nice little festival, everything within easy reach, can be cold at night, some good pubs. I see the sports pavilion is being used as a venue so that will be handy for us campers. For SomersetLee the STAR upstairs isn't a bad venue.
