Magic Lanternists Allan & Rene Marriott & the Spare Parts Concertina Band join forces to present four short shows at Newhaven Fort, Sussex, UK on Wednesday 20th. April at 2.00, 2.40. 3.15 and and 4.00 p.m.
We offer historic magic lantern slides, many from Sussex, some humorous, some serious, with appropriate songs & music.
The Fort was built in about 1860 and is a wonderful piece of architecture and engineering, fitting skilfully into the contours of the chalk cliffs with deep tunnels into the heart of the hill. This is part of a range of events over the Easter holiday.
