No, sir. It is because they just want to use it as a handy excuse to attack their political enemies...and any excuse will do. Any excuse at all. The issue ain't the Constitution. The issue is the intent to destroy a political enemy by any excuse possible, includin' Constitutional technicalities if you can scrounge up one somewhere. And THAT is what is so hypocritical about people goin' after either me OR Obama for bein' "born in Africa". It don't matter where someone was born. It matters how they grew up AFTER they was born, and what they came to believe in AFTER they was born...and that is a whole lifetime story, not a story of one's original birthplace. A person has gotta be measured by the story of their WHOLE life...not just the story of which municipality they was born in! People ain't "born" African, American or anything else, cos babies don't HAVE any political opinions yet nor any nationality ideas in their heads either. In most of the "important" things in life like housekeeping, recordkeeping, vehicle and tool maintenance, I'm a total slob. But I'm fastidious about slicing cheese. It must be sliced in uniformly rectangular slices of a certain thickness. My wife does not share my obsession. She just hacks away at a block of cheese any old way. When I slice cheese after she's mutilated the block (and I always buy cheese in blocks, never wedges - wedges have odd shapes and angles which are not consistent with my cheese worldview), I first must pare away the damage and return all angles to 90° before I can begin to slice in earnest. |

It can be caused by organic brain disease, and that gets more likely the later it starts. The OCD may not be very serious but what's causing it might be. Almost Every time I look at a guitar I count the tuners, even my own and the 12 string especially. I always count the spokes in wheel covers and the holes in between. I try to count the windows in the Law & Order set but never get them all. I think it's more boredom than anything, and I can stop in mid count and say, why am I wasting my time doing this? |

Today booze, tomorrow the Democrats!..but if you stop the booze, then you may be, what is called a 'dry alcoholic'...which means, even though you may stop drinking, you need to address the behavior that gives one an excuse to..and that is programming a 'failure'...which is the reason to feel sorry for one's self, so they can feel 'justified' to pick up the ol' bottle! It becomes a viscous cycle..and often people substitute 'other things' for the booze.(like political stubbornness, to the point of OCD. After 'forgiving' everyone for 'making you want to drink'(?), and asking forgiveness for all those you have 'offended', it can be a REALLY good idea to re-direct those energies into something more beneficial.....perhaps a more serious study of your instrument. Then any obstacle can be worked out through a serious practice, and boundaries that were limitations can be worked though......HOWEVER, as I've noted on here before, "Art for therapy may be great therapy, but it might not be great art!"
