Subject: RE: Tech: how to stop CHROME loading ads ??? From: Joe Offer Date: 24 Apr 11 - 03:20 AM Hi, PFR- Click on the wrench on the upper-right corner of your browser window, and select "options." Then select "under the hood." Make sure "Enable phishing and malware protection" is checked, then go on to whatever you were doing. You may also want to do this occasionally - clear your browser by clicking on that wrench and going to "tools." Select "clear browsing data," and make sure everything is checked from the top down through cookies. That should clear out at least some of the bad junk you may have accumulated. Good luck. -Joe- |
