In the interest of boosting ratings by getting regular pipple to watch...

what are the rules?

Drink every time the Queen (what?)
Drink whenever Prince Harry (What?)

And when do you chug?

Also, since it starts at 6 am on Friday Mudcat Time, you only win if you are still able to go out on Friday night and do your regular carousing. If you fail, the runner up becomes the winner, unless they fail, and so on.

I gather there are official rules somewhere... I was thinking of inventing particular ones for the Mudcat. Ideas?

Don't know what time or date the event is. Don't care. I'll probably be boozing, regardless, and totally independent of it. Either 12 year old single malt, or a locally crafted brew at my local brewpub.

Count me out. Getting drunk just isn't funny.

Besides, nobody ever even answered my question when I asked if there will be a flower girl.

I would hope that there would be a flower girl.

Can we drink if there isn't?

Aw, come on, you serious types - it's at 6 am here, don't expect to be drinking alcohol at that hour but making up the game would be fun!

Although they were recommending particular British drinks for breakfast on NPR today... and they didn't mention a mimosa once!

They did discuss Pimms on one program....like, how to make it by the gallon

Who won? It's a drinking game! Nobody wins.

Except the brewers, distilleries, and barkeeps.

Bob

'Flower Girl' - that's a great name for cocktail.

Pehaps vodka, lime and peppermint (or creme de menthe!) over crushed ice with a sprig of mint in it.
