Subject: Oh how much I love the circus From: GUEST,circus fan Date: 01 May 11 - 11:50 PM Hello, I remember in gradeschool, we used to sing a song that went something like this: Here comes the marching band Tra la tra la tra ta Tra la la Here comes the marching band Tra la tra la tra LA Zing zing tra la la la Zing zing tra la la la Oh how much I love the circus tra la la boom boom! And then it would go on to other verses (something like "here come the dancing bears, tra la...etc.). A google search has yielded no results. Has anyone heard/sang this song before? Do you know it's name/if there a recording out there? Any help is appreciated, thanks! |

Subject: RE: Circus Song: Here comes the.... From: GUEST,circus fan Date: 15 Jan 12 - 05:18 AM For anyone who cares about this, I finally found the song! It's apparently called Circus Parade by Milton Kaye. I found it at the following site, and I had some of the lyrics wrong (not surprising, since I probably sang the sang around 20 years ago in school): http://www.wadsworthmedia.com/marketing/sample_chapters/0534528260_ch05.pdf The lyrics are: Oh here comes the circus band Ta ra ra ra, Ta ra ra ra ra Here comes the circus band Ta ra ra ra ra Zing zing ta ra ra ra Zing zing ta ra ra ra Oh how much I love the circus ta ra ra boom boom! |
