What a pity you're meeting on the same night as the long-established Herga folk club
which is also within easy reach of local trains and buses at HA5 3TJ...

Ah, Sweet Pinner, land of my youth...

Is there a Folk War starting up?
Where exactly is yours being held, Barry?

Pinner's in Middlesex, isn't it, not London. Or at least, it was for the 27 years I lived there..

Have they moved it? If so, how? Did they put wheels under it, then push it down towards the A40?

Lizzie - are you acquainted with Clive Harvey's song about moving Bournemouth from Hampshire to Dorset...?

Middlesex continued as a postal address after being absorbed into Greater London for administrative purposes, plus Russell Grant campaigned for Middlesex boundary signs.

Keep trying Barry. It might happen one day! Unlikely though.

good luck Barry, what form will this 'club' take ?

Do you have residents?

Are you booking guests?

How much to get in?

Is it in a private room ?

I get a strong inpression that the whole point was to set up on the same night as Herga - Barry being p***ed off at the fact that they wouldn't give him gigs!

Still going 2017 but no longer with Barry :
"This group was originally started by singer, songwriter and guitarist, Barry Reeves. We are sad to report that Barry died February 2016 at the age of 65 after some months struggling with a chest complaint. We will always be grateful for his enthusiasm and total commitment to music which has brought us all together and his friendship. Always with us."
