The Wicked Laden's dead. Wake up - you sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed. Wake up, the Wicked Laden's dead. He's gone where goblins go, Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's see him dead and look at what the picture shows. Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low. Let them know The Wicked Laden's dead! (Obama) As commander and chief, In the County of the Land of UZ, I inform you most regally. (Petraus) But we've got to verify it legally, to see (Panetta) To see? (Petraus)) If he (Panetta) Is photo'd and buried at sea? (Admiral Mullen) Is morally, ethically, (NBC) Spiritually, physically (ABC) Positively, absolutely (CBS) Undeniably and reliably Dead (DNA expert) As Coroner I must concur, I thoroughly examined this monstrous cur. His mitochondrial DNA cross referenced with his sister shows... That he's not only merely dead, he's really most sincerely dead. Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: Donuel Date: 05 May 11 - 10:48 AM Nazi Germany coated their submarines with a rubber to suppress sonar reflection. Our stealth aircraft have a coating and special design shapes to suppress radar. We left a tail section intact and unburned at the scene so the coating is now available for possible reverse engineering. The most stealthy part of that helicopter (a hybrid Black Hawk) is that it has a very good muffler on the engine. |

Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 06 May 11 - 03:15 PM Wesley: "There's a new Bil Laden drink: Two shots and a splash of water...." Sick, but hilarious! Actually, with a thread title of, "Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt", that is to ASSUME that the Republicunts are the only ones spinning things. To tell you the truth, I read ALL the reports, VERY skeptically!........... .......Which calls to mind another thread, or several, which 'debates' the subject of reading music. Now bear with me, on this one: When reading music, or beginning to learn, it is a pain in the ass to see how all these individual notes make any sense at all....BUT, if any of you have had the chance to see printed notes go by, on a screen, as the music is playing, you begin to see the continuity...and, then, of course, it makes sense!....The same with the 'news' and/or the 'reports' that have been coming out this week..and NOT ALL, seemingly have to do with this one event..or do they??? Notable, from the same tune: the Royal Wedding, buried by, the 'birth certificate', unemployment figures, drowned out by the OBL mission, then all the 'reports', and contentions about them, followed by the first of the Republican 'debates', followed by 'new details', which 'escalate' alert levels...etc.............and this is only a 'phrase' of the tune! Its time to hear All the music, coming out of the stereo politicians, speaking out of both sides of their mouths, at the same time!!! A grain of salt, may be needed here! GfS |

Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: Genie Date: 07 May 11 - 02:40 AM Folks, as I acknowledged above, it's really easy (and not partisan) to say or type "Obama" when you mean "Osama" (or even to mix up "Saddam Hussein" and "Osama Bin Laden" back when we were "at war" with both). But how the heck do you 'innocently' report that "PRESIDENT Obama is dead" when you're thinking "Osama Bin Laden is dead?" I find it hard to accept that as an innocent slip of the tongue. |
Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: Donuel Date: 07 May 11 - 12:09 PM Get over it. Ted Kennedy exchanged the tow names dozens of times, at one meeting alone. I hope the next #1 terrorist we kill will be Rushtie LImbaudi your bin Laden drink of Two Shots of dead eye and a splash of water should have a comprable 'bin Laden Smoothie' with equaly hilarious ingredients. It also seems he had a considerable amount of mariquana in his house. |
Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: Donuel Date: 07 May 11 - 12:26 PM Fox news keep saying that Obama has egg on his face from the blundering the nin Laden mission. With enough repitition thats how some people will feel even if they do not feel that way today. |
Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: GUEST,lively Date: 07 May 11 - 12:49 PM It seems worrying, not to mention insular and superficial, that elements of the American press are (apparently) more interested in how this incident makes their president "look", than what it may ultimately mean in terms of it's actual impact upon the world at large. |
Subject: RE: BS: Republicans 'spin' Bin Laden death rpt From: GUEST,Guest from Sanity Date: 07 May 11 - 06:41 PM Well, Lively the Lovely, you might be right again!(mark your calender, and celebrate it once a year). I've noticed myself, that when a 'news' story breaks here, about virtually anything, within the first paragraph, always includes the consideration of that particular politician's CAREER, more that it does about the issue of how he just fucked up the people's trust that he just violated! Here, as I'm pretty sure, there, we only have the best politicians that money can buy!..and of course their political career takes priority, above anything else! It's pretty crooked here..and most Americans know it! Here, it is a common sensibility to 'vote for the lesser of two evils'! I prefer to vote my conscience, which, of course, usually not any of the front runners!..Oh, and by the way, I've been rudely, and stupidly criticized, on here, for doing just that....BY BOTH SIDES!!! Adlai Stevenson, who ran for President four times here, in the 50's and 60's gave us his most quotable quotes, in his long career..."By the time a man is nominated for President, he is no longer fit for the job!" Need I say more?? GfS |
