Saul, I'm not sure what you mean by "the thread." Are you looking for a thread with songs about or in remembrance of 9-11-01? Is that what you want this new thread to be?

Not long after the event I heard, as someone's choice on Desert Island Discs (of all places), a song entitled 'America' by an English folk-style singer (Robb Johnson?).

I doubt if it was what the OP is after, being somewhat world-weary and cynical in tone and entirely lacking in a desire to "kick mooslim ass", but if anybody knows who it was by and the title of the CD it was on, I'd be grateful.
