This Friday, May 13, Larry Kaplan will be presenting a rare and much-anticipated house concert in CT. If you don't recognize the name, Larry has written such fabulous and well-loved songs as "Old Zeb" (Rosie, get my Sunday shoes, Gertie, get my walking cane...) and "Song for Gale" (Get me my fiddle, we'll sing all the old songs...) and those are the merest sample of his enormous repertoire of songs that are original in all the best senses. He has a way of presenting a complex song in a simple way that makes you know it is true. E-mail me at SongsatJanets (at) aol dot com for details, reservations, and driving directions.

Joe Clone, I did not want the 'Lyric request' label; could it please be removed? Thank you.

Sorry to double up here but I would like people to know Larry Kaplan is doing a house concert as a benefit for the Sea Music Festival; this second thread is just to get the Sea Music Fest benefit in the title line! Please check that thread and join us!
