LA Times story today on a judge's citations of Dylan lyrics in legal judgement and testimony -

Citing Dylan's Lyrics in the Courtroom

Follow-on thread might be Dylan's own citations about courtroom justice (eg 'In the courtroom of honor the judge pounded his gavel').

There is an interesting article in today's Los Angeles Times,
May 9, 2011, written by Carol J. Williams.

Sub-Heading reads:

"The lyrics of the protest era troubador are cited more often in judicial opinions than any other musician's experts say."

Of course Bob is cited more often in judicial opinions than any other musician. And rightly so. No one else even comes close.

Here's a really good Woody Guthrie one to remember in court, though: "As through this world I've rambled, I've seen lots of funny men. Some will rob you with a sixgun, some with a fountain pen."

Robert Zimmerman, as some of you may know, is known better as "Bob Dylan."

Here's a great BD Judicial Opinion (LoL) -

'if for just one time you could stand inside my shoes, you'd know what a drag it is to see you'. Case closed.
