Been having a sort out of late, bit of life laundering etc. Sent loads of stuff off to the charity shop but I have 3 books that may be of more interest to someone on here

The Mancheter Rebels by William Harrison Ainsworth - New Illustrated Edition (Paperback - Re-printed 1992)

Everymans Book of English Country Songs edited by Roy Palmer (Hardback 1979)

Sovereign of the Seas - The Story of British Sea Power - David Howarth. (Hardback 1974)

I will probably come across more later but anyone interested in these before they are consigned to collect dust in the local charity shop?

I am more than happy to pay postage as long as they get a good home. No need to take all 3 BTW - but it is first come first served.

Cheers

Dave the Gnome

I'd love the Palmer book, Dave, if no onbe's claimed it yet. And if postage to California is a concern I'd be happy to pay for it (alternatively, you could get it to Micca or Jacqui, and then I could retrieve it at the Getaway this autumn).

Cheers
Claire

Great idea, Dave! I've been doing the same and may have a few to post over the summer. There do seem to be those special ones I'd rather go to a good home than send off to charity.

Hi Dave

Kendall would be interested in the 'Sovereign of the Seas, if still available. We're in the UK until the 24th so could give an address for posting, if you're not at the Yorkshire gathering this weekend.

Hi Jacqui. Yes - it's still available. I Won't be at the gathering but I work in Yorkshire - Anywhere I can drop it off for you? Happy to drop it off or post it to a private address as well - Just PM me. Hope the weather is good this weekend - Last time I saw Kendall in Yorkshire it absolutely P****d down! Still - we got by on good company and spiced rum:-)

Kat - my sentiments exactly. I don't need then anymore but rather than just get rid of them it is better if someone who I know would benefit gets them.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave, could I put in a bid for the Manchester Rebels, please? The book would only need to cross the Irwell...

Cheers,

Nigel
