The sailors return every wednesday in weymouth. Depends what you're looking for really. lots of open mics. Quite a few sessions. the wareham Wailers have a great club. Lots of Scrumpy and western - sort of Wurzels inspired stuff - done best by a brilliant local band - The skimmity Hitchers. The friday night dorset echo has the gigs for the week. However theres a fair bit of other stuff. Try online at The Acoustic Calendar and Folk South West. I've only lived here a sort while. I'm sure lots of locals will give you pointers. |
