Hello!

I have been asked to play a few weddings this summer, and am madly searching for some traditional or folk songs that might be appropriate for the occasion! (Seems like most of the love songs I know are about broken hearts, sad farewells or they end in death!)

I am an Appalachian musician, but would be happy to hear of suggestions from the folk music world, or Celtic traditional songs that would do the trick!

When my husband and I got married 13 years ago yesterday a friend sang 7 Wishes and he also sang Bramble and the Rose.

Copper Family's "Come Write Me Down" ~~ which may be what Saul means by its alternative name "The Wedding Song", but I repeat here just in case there is another one of the same name.
