June has been and remains to be a mad gallop with folky, beery, campy things every weekend

But July is looking like a desert.

There might be a GI (Good Intent, John Street Rochester) beerfest 1,2,3 July with sinagrounds with the Barden of England and/or Ruff'n'Ready incorporating Growler and the Shirt Murderer) - I am checking - and and the GI also had Derek Moore's booked open mic folk slots on the 9th July (where Squiddly-Diddly who are part of Octopus who went down so well at Sweeps have a slot).

So what's on in July that's worth dragging the caravan not too far to?

I stand corrected by the Barden - the GI is the weekend of the 25th June

Richard - depending on what you consider not too far there's Roger's Rant in Dorset 8-10 July. It is a folky, beery, campy thing, for joining in with, not big names. You don't have to pay to come or camp, but there are collections to raise money for a couple of local charities.

Kitty
