No-one else appears to have posted this, so I'll just say "RIP" for Ray Bryant, a great swing and jazz pianist who wrote one of my favourite dance hits ever - "The Madison Time" - in 1959. (The tune was used memorably in the film "Hairspray").

Thanks for the music, Ray, and now - give me a big Jackie Gleason!
