I'm heading down to Gloucester on Wednesday for a conference - I'll be there for a couple of days. I'm curious to know whether there are are folk song happenings in the locality on the evenings that I'll be there (Wed 15th, Thu 16th and possibly Fri 17th June). I tend to prefer informal singaround settings/ pub sings but I'd be interested to know of anywhere where I might hear a good song.

try the Victoria in Stroud, an informal, traditional singaround run by Bob Bray (see http://www.mustrad.org.uk/sessions.htm)
Melodeon
