OK, last post (for now) If I were better organized, I could have done this in one. I guess I was just feeling lazy, but here is the album at Tunes which contains I Don't Remember Loving You. Sound Clip, too.

WW, the original request by Kendall is just a bit outside my territory, but the Utah Phillips is available on Rounder. Check this url for a description of the album it is on, actually a bit of a condensation of two of his earlier albums. CDNow, CD Universe, and Amazon all have some sound clips, but not for I Remember Loving You. But you can listen to the clips given at each site to get an idea of his style. The first two would be most similar. Picked at random, here is the url for CDNow.

I wish I could figure out a sure-fire method for searching Cowpie. I figured "Harlan" would be a nice, distinctive word. Didn't work, because Cowpie has it listed as (Harlan Howard), so you have to search for (Harlan. Can anybody give me some tips? I'm always frustrated when I do Cowpie searches.

I think you are referring to John Conlee. The song is on his album 'Busted' on MCA. It was not written by Conlee, but co-written by Harlan Howard and Bobby Braddock. If nobody can supply the lyrics, I can transcribe them for you at some stage.
